BRUNO PORTO

Bruno Porto’s graphic design and illustration work has frequently been exhibited and published in Brazilian design magazines and international publications. He often writes about design and illustration, holds a monthly column at the Portal Design Brasil website and consistently attends and organizes design congresses, lectures, workshops, debates, meetings and exhibitions. He is currently living in Shanghai.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Porto took a degree in Graphic Design, a post-graduate degree in Marketing and Enterprise Management and attended the NY School of Visual Arts. He has held memberships from ADG Brasil, the Brazilian Graphic Designers Association, IAV – Visual Arts Institute of UniverCidade and SIB – Brazilian Illustrators Society. He was a member of ADG Brasil’s National Board of Directors and its Rio de Janeiro Board of Coordinators from 2002-2006. He is the author of two books, currently working on two others. He had been a faculty member of the Graphic Design Department of UniverCidade from 1996-2006, when he assumed a teaching position at Raffles Design Institute in China.
