During their recent trip to Cameroon, Esther Polak and team, together with two Fulani families and researcher Haman Unusa made a drawing on location of the 85 kilometres long transhumance trip from the wet to the dry season area. This resulted in a new installation: NomadicMILK, Cameroon version 2008.

As of April 20, 2008, Zebrastraat, the young art platform in Ghent, Belgium, welcomes Update II, the second edition of the biennial exhibition of interactive and digital art.
At the 2008 edition one of the guests is the reputable ZKM institute of Karlsruhe, Germany (Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie, Centre for Art and Media Technology).
The Update II exhibition presents top-class works from the ZKM collection, among others by, Jim Campbell, Heinz Mack, Piero Fogliati, Bruno Munari, Kovac Architecture, Masaki Fujihata, Levin Golan, Wolfgang Münch, Jeffrey Shaw, Toni Oursler en Bruce Nauman all waiting for interaction from the visitors.
Esther Polak, Michell and Jean-Pierre Hartmann are making new works for the Zebrastraat.
On May 22 ESTEHR POLAK will give a lecture in the framework of the Fringe Program Update II

Exhibition parallel with Update II:
In a previous life ZKM director Peter Weibel was the frontman of the rock group Sex and the City. A show of videoclips, starting with Al Jolson, highlights the fascinating contribution of clips to the present-day language of image.
